Being English majors, are we merely ‘translators’ of language, or are we something more? Why is it important for us, being English majors, to be well-versed and a somewhat “master” in Chinese culture?
For me, the English major are not just a translator, but a spreade. As English major we have the duty to spread our traditional culture, because It is a manifestation of national strength and for strength our China power we have to be a spreader.
