Because I believe that learning English is ultimately about being able to apply it to daily life. Fluent spoken English is a bridge for communication and can help us gain more opportunities. I hope to improve my speaking skills and increase my confidence through this course.

English teaching methods in China are more considered as dumb English，which is an English teaching method that attaches great importance to written English and test-taking, but neglects oral expression and communicative application.In that case，our listening and speaking skills would generally be worse than reading and writing，so do I.In my opinion，the ultimate purpose of learning a foreign language is communication，so It's of great importance to improve English speaking and listening skills.

There are many benefits for me to practice English listening and speaking.
